Hey Scrabble lovers! My name is Josh Sokol, and as one of the Content Creators for Scopely’s new Scrabble Web. It’s my pleasure to share a brief history of how our game has grown through live streaming and what to expect in the months and years to come in the Scrabble Streaming World.
During the Covid pandemic, the online gaming milieu has proven to be ideal for Scrabblers to play their favorite game. We have in the last year isolated ourselves to protect our families and loved ones from the dangerous virus. On May 20th, the North American SCRABBLE Players Association (NASPA) Resumption of Live SCRABBLE Play was announced. As of June 1st, small groups of fully vaccinated players could participate in sanctioned tournaments and club sessions.
