Update your game to 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭.𝟯7 and above to enjoy this brand new game feature!

Please note that this feature is currently being released, so not all players may have it immediately. We thank you for your patience.

What are Game Rooms?

A new feature that allows players to discover new opponents to play against in Scrabble games and group chat with other Game Room members. There will also be brand new Scrabble tournaments available to play within Game Rooms, which can be self-organized by the leaders of these groups!

What are the requirements for players to access a game room?

Players will need to be level 10 minimum.

You need to be Facebook or address book connected.

This feature is only available in Scrabble GO modern mode (Game Rooms are not available in Classic mode)

Game rooms won’t be available on Facebook (at least at the beginning)

How do I join a game room?

There will be a Game Room tab accessed from the footer menu. From there, you will be able to browse and search for different rooms to join.

Can I receive an invite to a specific game room?

Yes, All members of a room can invite other people to join.

Can I search for a specific game room?

Yes, there will be a search feature in the Game Room tab to find a specific room.

What can I do in a game room?

You can find another member looking for a game of Scrabble.

There will be an all-new tournament system where members of a game room can play in 8/16/32 person single elimination bracket tournaments.

You can also invite friends to join your Game Room.

Also, members will have a chat section to talk about all things Scrabble.

Can I join any game room, no matter which language or dictionaries I have set on my device?

Yes, although the games created in those rooms will default to the language the room is set in.

How can I participate in the chat?

To participate in a Game Room chat, you must be either Facebook or Address Book connected.

How do I report inappropriate behavior in the chat?

Any member can tap on an individual in a chat which will display a player info popup. From there, you can report the player.
