A: I’m a Product Manager in the Roadmap team. The goal of our team is to design new features or improvements for current ones to create as much fun as possible for our players!
A: I love word games. When I was a kid, I used to play all of those word games that used to come in the newspapers or on those puzzle books that they sold at the newsstands (at least in Portugal they did :D).
Scrabble Go has several different game modes, and it’s a game I can play to relax, play with my friends, and still feel like I improved my vocabulary and trained my brain. I’m not a native speaker, but I try to play in English to help me improve!
A: I didn’t own the Scrabble game board, but I had several friends who did and played it when I visited them. I don’t think I was a very good player at the time, though, and I only started learning about the different strategies in Scrabble and how to increase my score when I started playing Scrabble GO because, on the phone, I feel I have more time to think through what I’m going to play!
A: My favorite game mode is Adventures! I love to try to figure out the strategy that I need to follow to win the level. Also, collecting those Golden Tiles and creating super high scoring words is the most rewarding thing for me
A: Right now, I’m working on new content for Adventures. We have some new mechanics coming soon to keep the gameplay fresh and fun, and we also have something super cool for those that can finish Adventures. It’s a secret though, but I think you will love it!
A: The longest word I played was “Marketed.”
A: I feel a bit embarrassed by this, but I could only create a bingo once! I usually play in English, so I do smaller words that are more common and try to stack them to get a higher score. I created the bingo in a game with my mom when we played in Portuguese, and I did “Penduro,” which means “hang.”
A: This is a tough one. I love books and reading, so I would love to play against my favorite writer: Brandon Sanderson. I would probably get completely wrecked, though!
A: I think I would be the Sunflower!
A: Hmmm… I’m not sure anyone wants to hear facts about me! But I can share with you that I always wanted to work in games. I started my career in finance and consulting, and for six years, I tried to join the games industry. So, for me, being here and having this job is my dream come true!
A: First, thank you for reading this. I’m not very interesting, but I hope you at least had some fun! I know we have been having some technical issues in the game recently, but we are all working hard to make sure we solve them and that everyone can have a great experience playing Scrabble Go! We also have a ton of new and exciting things coming, so keep an eye out for them! I hope to see you in the game
